My five years at Chiswick have been fun and fulfilling. From Year 7, I was passionate about sports, especially netball. Since there wasn’t a school netball team at the time, I trained with Starz on Saturdays, which helped me make new friends and learn the game in new ways. By Years 8 and 9, I was selected for netball fixtures, as well as rounders and athletics. Playing for the netball team was a highlight—not just because we were successful, but because there wasn’t overwhelming pressure, allowing me to fully enjoy it. Netball became my main focus, though I still loved participating in athletics and rounders.

By Year 10, netball games became more frequent, and our team maintained a three-year winning streak. Becoming team captain was an unexpected but proud moment, especially as we continued winning with high scores. That year, I also excelled in athletics, winning the 200m, shot put, javelin, and relay, and contributing to Blenheim’s sports day victory.

As I approach my final year, I look back on my achievements, including an unbeaten four-year netball record, with gratitude for my friends and supportive staff. Chiswick has been more than a place of learning—it’s where I thrived in sports, embraced challenges, and created unforgettable memories. My journey wasn’t perfect, but it was everything I hoped it would be: fun, chaotic, and fulfilling.
