PTA Update

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

As we approach the end of the first half term of this academic year, we wanted to say an enormous thank you to everyone who has volunteered to support the Chiswick School PTA so far. It’s been a fantastic start to the ‘new’ year. We have had: 3 Car boot sales; 1 pre-loved uniform sale; 6 event bars; 127 Easyfundraising donations - and 40,000* WhatsApp messages (*only joking - but it may have felt like it!). This represents hundreds of volunteer hours, especially for the car boot sales, and we are delighted to share that since August 1st (the start of our financial year), we have raised £41,000!

This is an absolutely phenomenal achievement and a truly wonderful start to our fundraising year.

CHISWICK CAR BOOT SALE UPDATE

NEXT SALE: 1ST NOVEMBER 2026: 6.30AM - 12.30PM

Thank you to EVERYONE who has supported this term’s sales. We have had record numbers of buyers and sellers this Autumn, even with our price increase for buyers. If you are able to help on 1st November, or at any future sales, please join our regular volunteers list by emailing us on our new designated email address: carboot@chiswickschool.org. HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT THE PTA

  • DONATIONS OF PRE-LOVED, CLEAN UNIFORM: Please leave your donations marked for the PTA at Reception.
  • ENERGY: We are actively seeking enthusiastic new and existing parents to join our PTA admin and reps teams. We need support with events, communication, uniform and admin. We LOVE new ideas - but really need the ‘people power’ to realise them! Pop us an email if you’d like to find out more. We are inclusive, friendly and if you want to meet other parents, teachers and friends of the school, this is the best way to do it!
  • TIME: We would love as many hands to help as possible to run our events. Join the volunteers’ WhatsApp (email pta for the link).

PTA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Monday 23rd November 6.30pm-7.30pm

Please join us for this year’s AGM, to hear all about how much was raised in 25/26 and how these funds have been spent. All parents/ carers, governors, and members of staff really welcome.

PARENT/CARER WHATSAPP GROUPS

The parents’ WhatsApp groups are moderated by PTA Charitable Trustees: parents who have kindly taken on the role to support other parents, by sharing information from school (including the weekly newsletter), sending reminders, and occasionally contacting school to check information that cannot be found elsewhere. To join your year group’s WhatsApp, please email pta@chiswickschool.org. They are a great way to connect to other parents and build community, but do not replace formal communication from school. Please take a minute to look at our WhatsApp Guidelines here. Thank you so much for your support in keeping the groups safe, calm, and positive.
