Year 8 Art Trip to the London Aquarium

On the 7th and the 15th of October, Year 8 students had the opportunity to visit the London aquarium to provide inspiration for their current art project ‘Blue Planet’.

It was a fantastic opportunity for students to see the inspiration behind many artists and designers who look to sea life and endangered species as inspiration for their artwork. Following on from the half term Year 8 students are going to experiment with new materials and work with clay for the first time, crafting intricate coral sculptures inspired by the ‘Coral Kingdom’ at the London Aquarium.
