Chiswick Students Feature in National Carnegie Awards Ceremony

Our Carnegie Book Awards shadowing group was delighted to be selected to take part in the promotional video for the Carnegie Book Awards, which was streamed to audiences across the country.

Thirteen students from Years 7 to 9 spoke eloquently about the shortlisted books and the importance of reading in broadening our understanding of the world. They represented the school brilliantly, articulating their ideas with confidence and enthusiasm.

As well as appearing in the promotional film, Year 8 student Molly was invited to present the Shadowers' Award during the ceremony. She did a fantastic job, presenting with confidence, enthusiasm and great pride.
