- Celebrating Engineering Club Success in...
We are thrilled to share some fantastic news from this year's "If you were an engineer, what would you do?" national competition. Our Year 7 pupils entered this challenge through their work in the school's Engineering Club, showing incredible creativity and problem- solving skills. We hope everyone who took part enjoyed receiving their official participation certificates.
Following a rigorous judging process by industry VIPs, several of our Year 7 Engineering Club members achieved outstanding results, including top regional honours!
Please join us in celebrating:
- Winners: Cordelia F & Ken L
- Highly Commended: Dario T & Otto J
- Shortlisted: Aurelia P
- Distinction: Majid H & Sebastian D
- Merit: Pavel T
- Pass: JJ S, Marlowe W & Micah C
Following their top-tier achievements, our Regional Winners and Highly Commended students attended the awards ceremony and public exhibition with their families at the University of Kingston on 25th June. The exhibition featured all of the highly commended and winning designs from schools across London. Remarkably, Chiswick School students won all the available prizes in the Year 7 category for the whole of London. At the event, the judges spoke very highly of the students' designs, commenting on their application of key engineering skills and the ingenuity of their ideas. Students were awarded a framed certificate showing their design and an engineer's badge, while the winners also received a plaque.
Congratulations to all of our talented young engineers! We are incredibly proud of your innovation, dedication, and hard work at the Engineering Club.
