SAVE THE DATES!!

We work to support Chiswick School in sharing news of upcoming events for parents: PTA hosted events, Open Evenings, Forums, Music, Performing Arts and Sports events, open to all. We are delighted to announce that we have a new look dates document, including Sports Fixtures, launching after the half term: watch this space!

SUMMER FESTIVAL 7TH JULY: 5.30PM - 8.30PM

Our biggest event of the year, the Summer Festival, is in July, and we have started to source prizes for our tombola. If you can help, with any gift items, including ‘star’ prizes of meal vouchers or goodies, please let us know. We will be setting up a designated group for planning this event. CHISWICK CAR BOOT SALE: NEXT SALE 7TH JUNE

Thank you so much to all of the volunteers who supported the Spring sales, in April and May. Despite some less than perfect weather forecasts, the rain finally stayed away and saw visitors pour in once again, which was a joy for buyers, sellers - and for our fundraising!!

At the May sale we were also lucky enough to enjoy the Junior Steel pans playing some classic tunes, performing for the huge crowds in the sunshine.

Together, the two sales raised an incredible £20,100 for the school!! This represents hundreds of volunteer hours, including extensive planning and preparation each month.

Thank you to EVERYONE involved.

Our next sale falls on June 7th, and we would love to welcome new volunteers - if you’re not sure what it involves or have more questions, please come along as a visitor, to see how it all works - and come and say hello! Entry for buyers is just £1, or for sellers, from £10. Chiswick School students can sell for just £5, but must book first (via email) as these places are limited, and be accompanied by an adult.

PERFORMING ARTS AND MUSIC BARS

Thank you so much to everyone who supported the Music and PA event bars this half term: the Year group (10-13) Music Recitals; No Refund fundraiser; and Year 10 play KES. This half term we have raised £580 from the three bars - we call this the calm before the storm as we have HUGE numbers of events after the half term break, including our ‘big one’, the Chiswick School Summer Festival on 7th July. PTA BIDS’ MEETING MINUTES - 10TH JUNE

Join parents, teachers and leaders on 10th June, online or in person, for this term’s bids’ meeting, where we meet to discuss and vote on bids received for PTA funds (predominantly raised by the Car Boot sales). There is a wonderfully varied list of bids, covering all subjects and year groups. Your voice matters! Please come along if you can.
