Students Reflect on Empowering Confidence and Beauty Standards Workshop

Chiswick School recently had the privilege of hosting Charlotte Tilbury model Milena Capetta for a hugely popular Confidence and Beauty Standards Workshop with female students from Years 10, 11, and 12.

The sessions explored important topics including recognising self-worth, understanding how beauty is portrayed in the media and online, and developing confidence and resilience. Students engaged thoughtfully throughout and shared extremely positive feedback following the workshops, including:

  • “It made me feel much more confident in myself, and I also felt more connected with other girls in general, which I really appreciated.” – Year 10 student
  • “I went back later on to have another conversation with her one on one. Even though she had finished her workshop and had done her job, she still stayed for an extra 30 minutes to have a conversation. I think workshops like these are super nice and necessary for young people.” – Year 11 student
  • “The workshop felt really secure and understanding. It didn’t feel like there was any restriction in what we could say, but instead it felt open.” – Year 12 student

Due to overwhelming demand, we are delighted that Milena will be returning at the end of the summer term — watch this space!
