Improving Attainment for Disadvantaged Students

Chiswick School recently opened its doors as part of RISE Open Schools Fortnight, showcasing its work on improving attainment for disadvantaged students.

The morning began with an opportunity to hear directly from students, followed by a lively student performance. Headteacher Laura Ellener then shared the school’s journey since 2019, highlighting significant improvements in attainment and student outcomes. She and the senior leadership team attributed this to strong systems and processes, alongside a comprehensive personal development and enrichment offer, ensuring no learner falls through the gaps and fostering a strong sense of belonging across the school community.
