Biscuits & Bible: Exploring Faith in a Relaxed and Inclusive Space

Biscuits & Bible is a Friday lunch club that explores Christianity in a fun, relaxed and inclusive environment. Led by Mrs Irvine and Mr Hodgson, students across Years 7, 8 and 9 are halfway through the Gospel of John, encountering Jesus, his disciples, and his extraordinary miracles via our brand new youth Bibles. This academic year, we’ve hosted Reverend Denis Adide from St Stephen’s Shepherds Bush, Associate Vicar James West from Christ Church W4 and several youth leaders from Christ Church who have helped us explore faith, miracles and what it means to be a Christian in 2026.

Looking ahead, we are excited to attend the South West Christian Union Summer Party at St Cecilia’s on the 18th of June, hosted by the Titus Trust and LDN Holidays.

Fast forwarding on super speed to summer 2027… we are hoping to send our current and very dedicated cohort of Year 9 Biscuits & Bible students (next year, our Year 10s) to LDN’s senior holiday camp in the Surrey countryside where they will spend a jam-packed week at a beautiful boarding school pursuing activities of their choice interspersed with opportunities to grow in their faith.

All students are welcome to attend Biscuits & Bible every Friday lunchtime in B29. Students are issued a skip-the-queue card so they are able to grab their lunch and head to B29 where their reward is plenty of biscuits and lots of Christian teaching!

In the second half of our summer term, the Year 9 students will move up into our Senior Christian Union, led by Mr Moxon, joining our GCSE and A-Level students in their continued exploration of the Bible.
