Year 11 3D Design Visit to the Horniman Museum

On Friday 9th January, Year 11 3D Design students visited the Horniman Museum in south London to carry out primary research for their Component 2 Externally Set Assignment.

During the visit, students began by exploring the World Gallery, where they took inspirational photographs of fascinating artefacts from across the globe. They also had the opportunity to speak with museum volunteers, gaining valuable insights into the history and significance of selected pieces.

The group then moved on to the Natural History Gallery, where some students encountered taxidermy for the first time. Despite the cold weather, students later explored the museum gardens and were rewarded with spectacular panoramic views across the city.
