PARENT FORUM AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
On Monday 17th November, we hosted this year’s PTA AGM and Parents’ Forum. Thank you so much to everyone who attended. The evening was a chance for parents to meet in an informal setting, enjoying a buffet (prepared by our school chef Tom, and set up by our incredible site team), followed by the AGM (a summary of the PTA work from the last year (2024/2025) and voting in the trustees for 2025/6), and finishing with a forum led by Laura Ellener and Karen Emmett.
We are delighted to announce that the total PTA funds raised in 2024/2025 was an incredible £141,000!! Thank you to everyone who played a part in reaching this remarkable sum, most especially the car boot team, and all the monthly volunteers.
Full minutes of the meeting are available via the PTA section of the school website.

NOVEMBER CAR BOOT SALE
An ENORMOUS thanks to ALL the parents, carers, teachers and students who helped at the November car boot sale. It was a really tough sale, with huge sections of the playground and field unusable due to a combination of dire weather, water logging the ground, and building repairs! Despite the difficult conditions, our resilient volunteers worked their magic in the cold and wet, to raise invaluable funds for our students and the school. The sale raised a fantastic £6500!
Every single Car Boot Sale takes over 300 volunteer hours - from preparation of the school site, online advertising, replying to queries, numbering flyers, sorting the float, moving goals, putting up banners, to the on the day work: managing the queue, parking the cars, taking payment on the gate, managing the office and the finances, and then of course the clear up…
There are now over 175 current parents who regularly volunteer for the car boot sales and for events, in addition to alumni parents, which is outstanding.

REFRESHMENT BARS: SIXTH FORM OPEN EVENING, JUNIOR RECITAL and SENIOR RECITAL
Thank you so much to the PTA volunteers who supported the refreshment bars for the two November music events and the sixth form open evening. This was the first time the PTA has been asked to support this event, answering questions and selling refreshments, and the feedback was hugely positive.
