Launch of Our New Student Leadership Team

We are delighted to announce the successful launch of our newly structured Student Leadership Team, marking an exciting step forward in pupil voice and whole-school involvement. This year, we introduced a refreshed model that includes two Form Representatives for every form group, along with two Year Ambassadors for each year group. The response from pupils was exceptional: we received over 80 applications, demonstrating just how committed our young people are to making a positive difference within the school community.

Once the Form Representatives had been selected by our Head Boy and Head Girl, the next stage was placed firmly in pupils’ hands. From among the Form Reps, the groups democratically selected their Year Ambassadors. This pupil-led approach not only encouraged responsible decision-making but also ensured that the chosen ambassadors reflected the values and voices of their year groups.

Once appointed, our new leaders wasted no time getting to work. Their first major task was to begin planning this term’s whole-school charity event in support of Children in Need. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and creative ideas have already made a strong impression, and we are confident that their leadership made the event both meaningful and memorable.

We are incredibly proud of every student who applied, as well as those who have stepped into leadership roles. Their energy, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for shaping our school community shine through in everything they do. It is inspiring to see so many young people eager to lead, support their peers, and bring fresh ideas to life. We have no doubt that this year’s Student Leadership Team will make a truly outstanding impact, and we are excited to see all they will achieve in the months ahead.
