Mathematical Competition For Girls

We are incredibly proud to share that a group of our Year 11 and Year 13 students recently took part in the Mathematical Competition for Girls, a national competition designed to inspire and celebrate young female mathematicians.

The students performed exceptionally well, with several awarded Merits and one achieving a Distinction—a fantastic accomplishment that reflects their hard work.

Events like the Maths Challenge play a vital role in encouraging more girls to engage with STEM subjects, helping to bridge the long-standing gender gap in fields such as mathematics, science, and engineering. It’s inspiring to see our students rise to the challenge with such enthusiasm and confidence.

We hope to see even more girls take part in future competitions and to continue breaking down barriers. Congratulations again to all who took part—you’ve done us proud!
