Last month we were very lucky to be able to host Holocaust survivor Annick Lever BEM for a morning in school. Annick spoke to Year 9 about her experiences, and those of her immediate family, during the Holocaust. The students have recently studied the Holocaust in History lessons and we are incredibly grateful to Annick for coming in as we know hearing first hand testimony is an invaluable way to enrich such important lessons. It was wonderful to see the students engage with Annick’s talk and their feedback was both incredibly thoughtful and positive.
