Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award

Over a weekend in June, 98 Year 10 students conducted their practice expedition in Richmond Park. Over each day, the students navigated around the Royal Park using the routes planned and guidance from the staff. Halfway through the students were then challenged to navigate by themselves, becoming self-sufficient.

After successfully navigating this area the students then began their camp craft, which included building tents, basic first aid and using a trangia for their dinner.

The students were fantastic in all aspects and will be prepared for their end of term assessed expedition.
