Sixth Form Charity Contributions

This year the Sixth Form have been able to support the following charities through the profits made by their tuck shop.

Unicef: the world's leading organisation working for children in danger - £250

Magic Breakfast: provides healthy school breakfasts to hungry and malnourished children in disadvantaged areas of the UK - £100

Guide Dogs: Providing mobility for the blind and partially sighted. Supporting research, raising awareness and campaigning for the visually impaired - £200

Great Green Wall: an African-led movement with an epic ambition to grow an 8,000km natural wonder of the world across the entire width of Africa - £200

Plastic Oceans International: is a global non-profit organization that addresses the issue of plastic pollution and how it impacts our waters, sea life and humans - £200

Young Minds: The UK's leading charity fighting for children and young people's mental health - £100

Music Scholarship: To provide lessons to talented students with a cash flow problem - £180

Alzheimers Society: The UK's leading dementia support and research charity, here for anyone affected by any form of dementia - £100

We also raised £380 for Red Noses this year.

A Christmas Jumper day across the school raised £393.60 each for Save the Children & The Mercy Corps
