National Careers and Apprenticeship Week

To celebrate National Careers and Apprenticeship Week, the Careers department organised a wide range of careers and employer activities throughout the week to help support our students in their career development and progression and raise awareness of some of the wonderful opportunities open to them. We led career focused assemblies with different speakers coming in and ran career themed drop- ins in the careers centre throughout the week.

We also invited representatives from different industries and companies to come in and deliver incredibly engaging and insightful career talks to our students. We were very fortunate to have the following professionals come into school: a Barrister and Head of Chambers, a GP and senior lecturer of Medicine at UCL, Head of Supply Chain Planning at GlaxoSmithKline, President of MTV & Comedy Central Digital Youth and Entertainment, a freelance writer and former reporter and presenter at the BBC. Students from all years attended these talks, each one being completely full.
