Red Nose Day

Red Nose Day was great fun! On Friday 19th March, Chiswick School students worked hard to raise money to help those less fortunate than themselves, and this year especially, the students all wanted to really pull together and show support. We could not be prouder of their efforts.

We had to wear a superhero or red outfit and the Year 7s did not disappoint! Students literally came in defining the word ‘RED’.

Also, as we love a competition, Year 7-10 battled it out to win a mufti day in the summer term; the task was simple: 'Open a one day tuck shop and raise as much money as you can'.

Again the creative spirit of the students was great to see; there were cakes, sweet bundles, donuts and a socially distanced queue as far as the eyes could see!

The margins were very close but the Year 8’s had a great tuck shop manager who was very careful about pricing and just pipped them all to the post!

  • Year 7: £135.60
  • Year 8: £144.87
  • Year 9: £29.90
  • Year 10: £53.96

All-in-all we had a great day and raised an amazing £1186.78 (plus 2 tic-tacs!) overall. We still think the best-dressed were the LCOs who came in (like the Superheroes they are) in matching T shirts!
