From baking amazing cakes, to creating some incredible watercolour paintings to even making eyes out of clay, year 8 really have been staying creative this lockdown! Every week I get more and more students sending me what they have been up to, and it’s the highlight of my week every time!

I’ve had riddles, photos of sunsets and the snow, home made science experiments, poems, cartoon sketches and even a haiku or two! In this difficult time, it’s just been lovely to see the students keeping their spirits high by spending time on their favourite hobbies and sharing their results with me. Some of the drawings in particular are truly stunning - what a talented year group I have!
