Sixth Form welcome local senior citizens to Christmas celebrations

The Chiswick School sixth form team welcomed local senior citizens to celebrate Christmas in what has become an annual tradition for the school. Year 12 and 13 students served tea, cakes and sandwiches to the guests before performing a selection of acts designed to entertain and showcase their wit. The atmosphere was wonderful and gave both groups a chance to talk and interact with each other.

A Chiswick School student said "I had the pleasure of welcoming our visitors today - some had been for the last few years and were so happy to be back - it is great that we can do this for our local community and we feel very lucky to host them."

Chiswick School headteacher Laura Ellener said "I am very proud of the 6th form team, staff and students have worked hard to prepare for this event and to give back to our wonderful community. It was great to chat to the guests and they were incredibly complimentary about the students."
