Year 7 and 8 Kitchen Design Workshop
Our partners, The Youth Construction Trust, delivered their second careers workshop of the term, this time with Year 7 and 8 students.
The students were introduced to what boardroom design discussions are like when a company have to design homes for large communities.
Students decided their own roles when designing a kitchen, ranging from Community Negotiator to Computer-Aided Designer for homes. They moved pieces all round the board in order to meet the specifications from real life families and the winners of the challenge were given plenty of praise and a few prizes.
