On Thursday 17th October, we hosted our first ever Apprenticeships morning with our partners The Youth Construction Trust (YCT).

The panel was made up of Head of HR and Apprenticeships at YCT, a construction site manager and 2018 Construction Apprentice of the Year - both of whom have graduated from Apprenticeship programmes and are doing well in the construction industry. The aim of the talks was to inform students about what taking the apprenticeship route looks like next year as all of our year 11s move towards making their first career choices.

The talks were very well supported with just over half the year attending and overall positive feedback; all students stated that they felt better informed on apprenticeship options for next year.
