Academy Consultation Brochure now available

Dear Parent/Carer,
You may have seen from our website that the school has entered a phase of formal consultation on the proposal to move to Academy status from March 2012. The consultation process opened in late October and will run until Friday 2nd December.
An information evening aimed at providing a full understanding of what this will mean to students, staff, parents and stakeholders, will be held in the main school hall on Tuesday 22nd November at 6.30 pm. I write to formally invite you to attend this meeting.
Our considered opinion is that the flexibilities offered by Academy Status will allow us to best position the school to continue its’ journey to excellence.
A full and open consultation process is essential to allow all parties to fully understand the implications of Academy Status and for the school’s Leadership Team to consider any concerns held by stakeholders.
I hope you will be able to attend this meeting, for those of you unable to attend, details and a summary of the meeting will be posted on the school website under the ‘Chiswick News’ section.
