Day of action - Wednesday 30th November

You may be aware from the national news that all major unions (teaching and non-teaching), are currently balloting members to access support for a planned ‘day of action’ scheduled for Wednesday 30th November. This action is mainly in reaction to proposed pension changes for all public sector workers.
Whilst I cannot say for certain, as the ballot results will not be in until the beginning of next week; it looks like we will be severely disrupted by this day at best, and may indeed need to consider closing the school, dependent upon the number of staff taking action.
I will write to confirm details as soon as the ballot results are available; but wanted to forewarn you giving you as much time as possible to plan for possible disruption.
