Chiswick School English Department were lucky enough to be joined on Google Meet by Paapa Essiedu this term for an exclusive interview! We were able to hear all about Paapa's time playing Hamlet for the Royal Shakespeare Company; this gave Year 13 the chance to write about the staging of this play with originality and flair in their November exams.

As well as quizzing Paapa on his interpretation of Hamlet, the class were able to obtain some fascinating insights into the acting industry in general; this included a question-and-answer session about his recent role as Kwame in the BBC’s I May Destroy You. I've never seen the class so inspired!
